Hey, what you'll need is voters who recognize good work. And good luck, nonetheless!

Todd has it right. Looking forward to seeing you at Bouchercon, Patti.

Ooh, you decided to come! We will be there from W-S. Let's have a drink! Hope you can meet Megan. Taking the train. Hope that works out well.

You convinced me, Patti. I'll be doing a short talk about Ricochet Books at 5:00 on Saturday. Hope you can make it. Hope we can have that drink! Would love to meet Megan. Trains are the most civilized mode of travel.

We'll see you on Wednesday. (We're arriving on Tuesday.) I'm taking a couple of days and driving, as Jackie wants to go back to Niagara Falls (it's been 13 years). The train is a very sensible way of going.

Yes, I hope so. Hate driving into big cities, plus Phil hasn't gotten his new eyeglass prescription yet after cataract surgery. We get in around six. Save us a decent room.

I hope you have a wonderful time! Sure, winning a prize would be nice, but it's the people that really matter, and connecting with them is the best thing. Enjoy!! Hoping for some kind of a con report upon your return. We who stay behind will miss you.

All the best, Patti.

I have no expectation of winning a prize. I am just glad to be going to Toronto and seeing so many nice people. And especially Megan. You who stay behind will be missed.
